For your washer, unless it's a specific motor, could likely put almost any motor in there and make it work. If you do need to replace the washer, I've been really happy with the front load LG older ones that have a DC motor. You can tell it's a DC motor when you spin the drum by hand and it lights up the display. They draw much less than others and you can find them without an additional water heating element, which is great for winter time.
Love this wrap up of your spring season beginnings! Your positivity and ingenuity are the best! Love following your lives on the mountain! Sending happy wishes and vibes things keep going smoothly for you! ☺️🙌🫶
Hi Amy and Curtis. Your news letter was very interesting to red as always. Good luck with the garden planting. You will be extra busy now that your washing machine has a burned out motor, yikes. Back to hand washing Amy. Your place looks so nice, you guys have done so much over the past couple of years.i bought. STRAWBERRY planter, I have 12 plants planted. Been picking off some of the little flowers which was suggested, cannot wait to get fresh strawberries. My first time grow ing them. We look forward to seeing you in Penticton soon!
Your garden is going to be amazing this summer! Love reading about the journey to make it happen. However, stories of Screech are my favorite …might a summer job give him more confidence? Maybe patrolling the garden….eating bugs, chasing away the chicks, etc… He’d be proud.
“Creating soil for a garden here has been a long, patient process, and now is the time to see it finally come to fruition.” Garden soil is like children. It takes years to make both productive! Congratulations on your patience and perseverance.
