I am so impressed! You are a true pioneer.

I am still looking for a source for rabbit pelts to replace the fake fur on my parka’s hood. Let me know if you are doing anything like that.

I am a diehard animal hugger but make exception for the rabbit fur.

Thanks for posting. I save all your posts in a collection in my email.

Kind and warm regards,

Dan Casey

Hi Dan, thank you!

Where are you located?

I'm not certain that I can get fur across the border but I'm willing to give it a shot.

I only have dark colours, could that work?

Hi Amy,

Any color fur is fine as long as it is real. I had a parka from the USAF that was really nice with a split/zippered hood but I had to give it back when I was discharged back in 1974. I just bought one similar from an Army/Navy surplus online but it has the fake fur.

I live in Eastlake, Ohio zip is 44095.

Hi Amy. Like you and Curtis my mom and dad did logging on Vancouver Island. The winters were long and hard and of course they couldn’t really log that much because of the snow and weather. They found that a lot of their time was taken up repairing equipment. Dad learn how to play the drums and mom Spent most of her time painting, and at what other art she could dream up in her mind.. They were always very happy to get back up on the mountain and do their work. They loved the life they had chosen.

Hi Terry! Wow were they in a logging camp?

That's funny... Curt has a drum kit stashed away here somewhere..

Well, I am always blown away by the progress you guys make. I love visiting you on the mountain as I feel at home there. By the time I leave I am rejuvenated. I even get my old sense of humor back.

You have a wide range of plans for the land and I can easily see you guys getting all of them completed in a short time period.

Oh, that spring you are talking about. I am sure it comes down the path behind my quarters where I stayed.

Keep safe and warm this winter.

Lots of Love
