I thought you would put the fur on the inside - and it needs a peak for the sunny days. Otherwise it looks good. When are you going to make the mittens?

Great Job! It looks very cute. I think your method worked perfectly. When I sew, I use muslin to mock it up (it's cheap and much kinder on your hands than denim!). Are you using a glover’s, leather, or furrier’s needle? I've never sewn fur but it looks fun. What kind of thread are you using?

Amazing hat! I bet with this cold snap you are very warm and cozy. Having the fur on the outside keeps the oils from your hair wrecking the fur. Good choice. Love those pom poms too.

As long as your wearing the hat in cold weather everyone will wish they had one too. I have a silver fox hat. Very warm and the pattern would be fairly easy to copy. For the next skin.
