The Legacy in a Junk Pile
Behind my shed lies one of my biggest secrets. A secret SO BIG, it has gates, fences, and windows. I’m not entirely proud of it, but I’d hate to be without it. I have a junk pile. It has all kinds of potentially useful ‘things and stuff’. Beauty in the eye of the beholder, I love the junk pile.
Loving Where You Live
Wanderlust Most people share a wanderlusty feeling. Itchy feet- wondering when and where the next trip will be. Planning the next getaway. I have it, pretty bad too. I love exploring other cultures, seeing new places and eating new foods. But I’ve noticed something lately. That wanderlusty feeling is actually hindering me.
The Oilsands
I worked in the oil sands for a decade. Seems like a weird choice for an environmentalist, but you know what?! After living and working in Canada’s biggest oil boomtown, I loved it. I learned a ton and met a lot of great people. I now understand how the gas in my tank (or diesel) got there.
