Living off the grid is something I've always had the desire to do love seeing your pictures beautiful Skies love the outside hot tub doing it myself now thank you for the idea
Your next to the most recent post had me wanting to ask a few question about your “house” and the snow, but it would stand to reason as thorough as you are with this blog/stack you probably already covered the info. So, as not to ask stupid question, which I won’t do without making an effort to find the answer, I came back to your beginning, Glad I did.
I’ll make time to trek through your (& Curt’s - forgive the spelling if wrong, I’ve not run across his name in print yet, just the Q&A video pronunciation) absolutely amazing and shamefully envied lives. I thought I had fit a lot into my life, but lady, I tip my hat and bow deeply to you both!!
Anyway, as I’ve said before thanks for sharing the great adventure. You two truly rock!!
Thank you so so much, and thanks for going back to the beginning! I haven't looked at this post in a while and am a bit surprised to realize - it's been three years and 126 posts since then. Holy!
You two are a shining beacons of human self destiny, shining over the mediocrity of the modern masses, begging for AI managed 15 minute cities. I know that sounds a bit dramatic ands hyperbolic, but from 30,000’, one realize what you two have built is the true face of progress. All else is varying degrees of shiny regression and decay.
New goof here. Just started to read your adventures, after seeing your post on Kubota tractors. Don’t need to tell you to be safe and have fun, you’re already doing that!
Don’t let the question of whether you are there alone derail you. It’s a reasonable question when people imagine themselves in a similar situation. Their fears will lead to their first questions. Fears of being alone are very real for a lot of people. Dependence on others is also a big reality too.
I have similar aspirations but have chosen to focus on circumnavigating in a small boat. A goal that I need to build up to over the next couple years. I’m sure that when the time comes I will also be asked “are you doing this alone?”
