Wise words of the outdoors folk that could not be more accurate. I think I once mentioned to you privately, that you could be a professor of a philosophical utopia. A new lecturer for the generation who retire from the "apron strings" of mom and pop yet can't afford the lifestyle of a "downtown" lifestyle. I have an entrepreneurial idea for when life slows for you a bit, if ever. BTW you have a beautiful wood sculpture happening.

Thank you Glen!

Entrepreneurial idea, you say… curiosity piqued!

I’m going to craft something for you once I figure out how to execute the concept.

Awesome, I love how organized and prepared you are, also the fact that if something got overlooked or happened unexpectedly you still roll with it and make the best of it as well.

I did many years up in Fort Murray as well, worked at most all the plants up there as a Steamfitter in the building and shutdown stages.

I and my family are preparing to make the move to offgrid as soon as possible. Love the peace and quiet.

Thanks Owen!

Oh wow, shutdowns were challenging but fun, weren’t they.

Awesome that you’re going to move off grid, you won’t regret it :) where will you go?

Your welcome, oh yes they were, long shifts especially in the winter months.

I'm looking for southwestern Alberta, but it will be where ever I have enough money to buy cash.

I want debt free and self sustaining as much as possible.

I am building what I can myself. I have everything except the structural steel to make my saw mill, I made the tools and have started building my wind mill power generator. ( I bought the plans from James Biggar on you tube ) and I bought "The Gasifier Bible" I plan to build one to also be a way to run gas engines on wood.

My wife and kids are on board as well and we can't wait to make the move. We need to sell our business and house first though. selling the business is harder than we thought it would be. It's been on the market for 6 months already. When the timing is right it will happen.

Sure enjoyed reading your news letter Amy. Very interesting. You guys are very organized and I think more comfortable this winter, you have come a long ways in making your home so cozy and comfortable. We found it very interesting reading about the propane fuel etc needed to get through the winter months,. Thanks for sharing your home stealing experience. We’re amazed at what you both have accomplished. Merry Christmas and all the best for 2023,❤️❤️🎄🎄🙋🏼👋

Although winter diesel is treated for winter use, sometimes it’s not enough and you need to be prepared in the event you have gel problems with your diesel fuel. For my 2000 Kubota B 20 I use a product called diesel 911. It is for sale on Amazon, if you need it. It will break up any gelled diesel fuel almost instantly. There is also a treatment made by the same company that you add to your diesel containers to help prevent winter gelling.

I can explain how a propane refrigerator works if you’re interested.

Feta and Dash were a true inspiration, so much so, we now have one of the most intelligent/loyal pets one could imagine. More details when we chat this holiday season, cuz the "post" would find it hard to believe. There is no doubt you will make the concept happen Amy. Hi to Curt.
